Copywriting can be a finicky thing, but with our tips you can do it successfully. There are so many ways to write to get your audience to act, but getting that action to actually happen can be another story. There are several tactics you can use to influence your target audience in thousands of ways. So how do you know which one to use or how to maximize the reach of your copy?

These various styles and methods each try to achieve separate goals. Today we will go over some of the most well known techniques to help you decide which will work best for you.

Plain And Simple

Sometimes the best approach is the easiest approach. The copywriting that is most easily remembered by readers is often the simplest and easiest for copywriters to write and master. Most of the time when your copywriting technique is mastered, your writing can remain relevant and be read for years if not longer.

Formula 1

Great copywriting focuses on four key points. It must be credible, compelling, concise, and clear.

Credible: Having something to back up the talk in your copywriting is a great way to convince your readers. This can include statistics,  articles, testimonials, and whitepapers. These help deliver your overall message and ensure credibility.

Compelling: You need to attract your target audience's attention. The best way to grab their attention is to focus on the problems your audience might currently have, and the solutions you have to offer them. What can you provide to make their desires a reality?

Concise: Make sure the topic you are addressing is short and sweet.  This ensures that your message comes across without the distractions that can accompany filler messages and copy.

Clear: Make sure that what you write will be understood and retained by everyone who reads it. Use small words or bullet points to get your message across.

Formula 2

One of the most frequently used techniques in copywriting is to address a common problem that is a pain point for your audience. Capitalize on it by using emotional language to bring the point home, and offer your audience a solution. This strategy, as you can see, repeats some of the techniques used in the first formula. This only serves to enhance the success rate of your copywriting.

Formula 3

The last technique we will discuss today is stacking. Stacking is also commonly known as bridge after bridge. This technique is different from most traditional forms. The writer formats the copy by stacking one positive point after another. This is very different from the typical first negative approach or addressing an audience's pain point. In order for this technique to work you need to know exactly what your audience needs. Focusing your copywriting on one positive after another should entice the audience at each step of the way. It  needs to be calculated to make the consumer say yes, yes and yes. Putting together a perfect picture will catch your audience in an ideal state and provide the perfect opportunity to close the sale.
